What does the position entail?

As a preparedness coordinator, you are tasked with developing and strengthening the Public Transport Authority's preparedness for various types of events, both in peacetime and during heightened readiness.

Your work aims to reduce vulnerability, and you play a key role in directing, supporting, driving, and following up on the Public Transport Authority's efforts to strengthen capacity in crisis preparedness, civil defense, and other security issues. Your work also includes areas such as security protection and operational protection.

You will work both independently and collaboratively to drive and develop the authority's preparedness and security work.

🚌 More specifically, your tasks include:

✿ Being the authority's expert on preparedness and security issues.

✿ Driving the work to strengthen the authority's preparedness both in peacetime and during heightened readiness.

✿ Collaborating within the area both within and outside the county.

✿ Planning and conducting training and exercises together with others.

Who are you?

To take on this role, we see that you have a university degree or vocational training or experience in a relevant field. The work requires you to be planning, organized, and able to drive the work forward both strategically and operationally. To succeed in the role, you have a good ability to collaborate and easily build trusting relationships. You are a good team player who can take responsibility for your work and has the ability to work independently. It is also essential that you are unpretentious and humble, as we at Din Tur work closely together and help each other where needed. We place great importance on your personal qualities.

We consider it an advantage if you have documented experience in crisis preparedness, civil defense, and security. Knowledge of and experience in crisis management organizations as well as experience in planning, conducting, evaluating, and following up on training and exercises are also advantageous.

With us, there are buses, taxis, train services, special transport, and medical journeys. Annually, 10,000,000 journeys are made with Din Tur. We want to increase accessibility by creating efficient and sustainable travel with a focus on safety. Today and tomorrow, we reduce the county's negative environmental impact by offering advantageous alternatives to the car.
